Call Kathy Thornburg at 336-633-0221 or e-mail kwthornburg@randolph.edu to secure a space in upcoming classes or to place your name on the waiting list. The program is divided into four distinct, sequential sections requiring about two years to complete. After the first introductory semester, students will complete a sequential program that includes wheelwork, glaze chemistry, and firing dynamics. Since these classes are designed for occupational development, students are expected to develop a distinctive style of their own and be capable of producing marketable work. Student evaluation is based upon successful completion of course objectives and a demonstration of skills.
