Transfer Student Admissions

Students who have attended other colleges/universities are considered Transfer Students.
        
Transfer students seeking admission into a specific program must

  1. meet the same admission requirements as new students; and
  2. submit official transcripts from all colleges attended.

 

Articulation Agreements

The Comprehensive Articulation Agreement (CAA) is a statewide agreement governing the transfer of credits between North Carolina community colleges and public universities. The CAA is applicable to the North Carolina community college students who have completed the 44-hour general education core or graduated with an Associate in Arts (AA) or Associate in Science (AS) degree and transfer to a constituent institution of the University of North Carolina.
