Winners All Around
The National Higher Ed Marketing Awards have been announced and RCC takes home two. The Educational Advertising Awards is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country. This year, over two thousand entries were received from more than one thousand colleges, universities and secondary schools from all fifty states and several foreign countries. Academic Merit Awards were awarded to RCC in two categories, imprinted materials and annual reports. Photography faculty member John Rash created a photography hoodie design that won the award for imprinted materials, and our annual Report to the Community won in the annual report category.
Design Your Way To New Students
Interior Design has a new and improved Web site. Measures have been taken to make a fresh new site that is engaging to prospective students, current students and the community. Holly Barker and Ann Smith-Palenchar have done a great job incorporating the elements of their program on the pages and making their Web site unique. Since making changes to their site they have seen a 135% increase in pageviews, 164% increase in unique pageviews, and 160% increase in time spent on the Interior Design home page.
Keep your eyes open for RCC’s new TV spots on WGHP. Commercials will run on the stations during the Thursday and Friday mornings “What’s Happening Segment” and in the afternoons during TMZ.
