Volume 1, Issue 1

We are excited to announce that Randolph Early College High School now has its own newspaper! The newspapers will be available on the first Friday of every month.

Our faculty advisor is Mrs. Milliner; she works with all five sophomores who are dedicated to keeping this newspaper up to date.

RECHS: Round two

First I’d like to welcome all the Sophomores back once again, and welcome the Freshmen here for their first year. We had a wonderful year last year and are ready for the next round. So far we’ve welcomed the Freshmen with a couple events like

the mixer and the scavenger hunt, and hopefully more fun-filled activities involving us all are soon to come. Also we’ve had our first adventure to UNCG to learn about the campus, student life, and more.

The year has started off with a bang and is going great; college classes have started and we are all on our way towards success.

Work hard and keep your grades up, because we all love the rewards of a great educational experience!

Raven Newspaper

Our newspaper!

Daleena Spainhour is the Editor-In-Chief, and oversees Stacey Collins, Craig Buckmaster, Dakota Price, and Victoria Luther.

We are currently looking for a creative title for our newspaper. If you have any ideas, stories, or pictures, please see one of the newspaper staff members.

Also, if you have any poetry or artwork that you would like to submit, there will be a drop box in the office where you can submit your work. Please be sure you have your name on your work so that we can give proper credit. We will try our best to include these in the newspaper.

Courage

Trust, belief

Brave, strong, daring

Endurance, power; dread, terror

Trembling, shaking, panicking

Locked in, boxed in

Fear.

`You’re not only my brother,

You’re not only my friend,

You’re my hero.

You’ve always been there.

You’ve loved me when no one else did.

You’ve always been the person I could talk to..

You have always protected me.

I’m proud bro,

To call you my Hero.
