Randolph Early College High School

The Place:

• RECHS is an autonomous high school located on the campus of Randolph Community College.
• One of 33 Early College High Schools in North Carolina.
• Supported by Gov. Michael Easley's initiative to redesign North Carolina's high schools.
• Randolph County's fifth high school.
• A partnership between Randolph County Schools and Randolph Community College.

The Students:

• RECHS currently has almost 400 students in grades 9-12. The 11th and 12th graders use the new RECHS modular building for their high school academic classes, while the underclassmen use the second floor of the Vocational-Technical Center.
• Targeted population - first generation college students, economically disadvantaged students, minority students.
