Course Selection Students should consult their academic advisor for help with course selection. There are certain core requirements that must be met. These include the following: • ENG 111 is required. • Within the Humanities/Fine Arts area, an ENG is required and courses must come from 3 different prefixes. • Within the Social/Behavioral Sciences area, a HIS is required and courses must come from 3 different prefixes. • Within the Mathematics area, an introductory math is required. These include MAT 140, MAT 161, MAT 171, and MAT 175. • ACA 122 is required for the degree. Students must pass placement tests and/or meet the prerequisites to take certain courses. Developmental Education courses are available for those who need them. |
